HKCERT Publishes HK Security Watch Report Q3 2022
HKCERT (Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre) has published the Hong Kong Security Report for Quarter 3 2022,
Total repored cybersecurity incidents in Q3 2022 has increased by 24% comparing to Q2 2022, reaching 10,000 incidents in total.
The attacks are mainly comprise of Phishing (7,141 ases) and Botnets (3,684 cases).
In response to the skyrocketing numbers of Phishing websites and emails, Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force has launched CyberDefender "Scameter" for users checking suspected pitfalls.
